The Arabian Peninsula is located in the southwestern part of Asia, with the Gulf of Persia and the Gulf of Oman to the east, the Gulf of Aden and the Arabian Sea in the south, and the Red Sea and Africa across the west. The northern boundary generally extends from the north end of the Gulf of Aqaba to the mouth of the Arabian River.
