  Mark, an American high school student, learns pinyin “zh, ch, sh" from Chang'e in the moon, and Chinese characters “上中下” (meaning up, middle and down) from Cangjie in the Village of Peach Blossom.There in an old Chinese saying,ie “If three of us are walking together, at least one of the other two is good enough to be my teacher.” From Confucius, you must think that this is a nonsense in a time-travel TV series. No, these are what appears in the learning CD of Chinese Master World Chinese Education Cartoon Series (Impression on of Chinese), which is attached to the textbook written by Shenzhen Cangjie Tong Culture Communication Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Cangjie Tong Company).
  To encourage and support our cultural enterprises to participate in international competition, expand cultural goods and services exports and promote Chinese culture "Copyright transfer to Overseas”, Cangjie Tong Company has selected the book "Impression on Chinese” as the most annual importantannual one for export in 2011-2012. This was the second time for Cangjie Tong to be selected, as early as in the years from 2009 to 2010 the book was also selected as the best"The textbook of learning Chinese as a foreign language"."Impression on Chinese" is pretty popular in America, and some institutions consider it as Chinese learning material.
  Origin: Gave Up Teaching in the United States and Returned to China for R & D of the Chinese Textbooks
  Mr Ni Liyun, deputy general manager, introduced the research and development, production and promotion of the book- "Impression on Chinese” in America Cangjie Company is located in Shenzhen Animation Park in Nanshan District, Shenzhen.
  In recent years, with the rise of China in the world, a trend of learning Chinese language has swept the world and demand of learning materials in the World market is growing. According to introduction of Ni Liyun, Zheng Yuhong, a general manager, has taught Chinese in several universities in the United States, including Quincy College for nearly 20 years, but Chinese language teaching materials not only lacked coherence, vitality and figurativeness. Existing textbooks were not only imperfect, but also posed difficulties in learning Chinese culture. Through years of research, General Manager Zheng Yuhong realized that the market of textbooks of learning Chinese as a foreign language is badly needed.
  In 2009, general manager Zheng Yuhong resigned and returned to China. He registered for Cangjie Tong Company in Shenzhen, and was committed to compile coherent textbooks of learning Chinese as a foreign language. “Cangjie” was a man,an historian appointed officially,during yellow Emperor period, the company adopted his name and changed to "Cangjietong", the meaning of the name was "Chinese culture" , which was preached in the entire world.   Deputy General Manager Ni Liyun said that “Impression on Chinese” combined the actual situation of both of Chinese and Western cultural differences, interest and hobbies of the students in the United States, Europe and other countries, as well as innovative education model of textbook animation. This teaching material of learning Chinese as a foreign language compiled by the company was the first of its kind and leading in the form at home and abroad.
  Features: with the Chinese Culture, History and Geography and Customs Integrated
  “Impression of Chinese” is divided into four volumes, the first volume Travel in China and the second volume Live in China are published, the third volume Magic China and the fourth volume China Today will be available by the end of this year. Each volume includes Student Book, Workbook and teachers' manual, and one set of three-dimensional discs (two pieces).
  Deputy General Manager Ni Liyun introduced, each volume includes 350 words; the four volumes will contain altogethes 1500 words for learners to master in speaking and reading.
  “Impression of Chinese” first promotes the Chinese culture with coherent stories. Its innovative and helpful characteristic shows that each volume has a coherent story. For example, the first volume tells a story about the hero Mark, an American boy learning Chinese in high school. who went to the moon to learn pinyin from Chang'e, then how to write Chinese characters from Cangjie in Peach Blossom Village, and also the old Chinese saying, “If three of us are walking together, at least one of the other two is good enough to be my teacher.” by Confucius in the Confucius Temple. Finally he went to Beijing, and toured the Great Wall, Tiananmen Square and other places to learn Chinese culture.
  Promotion: Shoulder the Mission and Responsibility of Promoting “Copyright Transfer to Overseas”
  Deputy general manager Ni Liyun said that export of “Impression on Chinese” last year brought in only more than U$D 130,000, but this year they have already received an order worth U$D 300,000, which won more profit after the initial profit.
  “Impression on the Chinese” is not just a textbook; it shoulders the mission and responsibility of promoting the excellent Chinese historical and cultural out. In the, face-to-face learning, Mark, a hero and an American high school student appears together with some characters in ancient Chinese legends and myths, and also historical celebrities often appear.   Cangjie Tong Company promotes “Impression on Chinese” on the National Chinese Language Conference in April each year, which Chinese language teachers attend to for exchange of thoughts and feelings. It is also a kind of fair for order of Chinese reference books and textbooks. As of now, Cangjie Tong Company has participated in three sessions of National Chinese Language Conference, more than 7 per percent of the participants said that the kit of materials is greatly different from those in the past; Its unique contents and interesting stories with vivid illustrations, are easy to learn. At the same time Cangjie Tong Company promotes “Impression on Chinese” to the American School Council, until present, directors of six communities in the United States said this book was the most systematic teaching materials they had ever seen and conld satisfy what was needed.
  Long-term Goal: Develop Derivative Products and Learning Software
  Currently, “Impression on Chinese” series with its derivative products have been registered in the State Copyright Bureau. According to Ni Liyun, the goal of Cangjie Tong Company is to promote sales of the four sets of textbooks in the next year after volume I and II were finished by the end of this year to other English speaking countries, especially to United States, and gradually to countries speaking other languages. At the same time, the company plans to realize total market sales worth RMB 150 million yuans. after overall completion of the four valumes, the total earnings will reach USD 20 million, with a net profit of RMB 30 million yuans, and they will occupy a market shareof more than 30%.
  Cangjie Tong Company will also develop derivative products of “Impression on Chinese”, such as the doll of Chang’e, Cangjie and other images in textbooks, and beforehand doll of Chang’e’s rabbit has been developed. Development of “Impression on Chinese” e-learning software has also been put on the agenda.
