I. Introduction In recent years, there are many ways to test ball point pen oil in physical evidence analysis, especially using thin-layer chromatography and thin-layer scanning. Based on the research of selecting the ballpoint pen oil thin layer developing solvent by fuzzy orthogonal method, the paper chooses the ideal thin layer chromatography condition which is suitable for the relative writing time of ball pen ink.
