人皮肤经光线照射可产生生理反应(如皮肤变黑、角质层增厚等)或病理反应(光性皮炎)或二者兼而有之。具有光敏性的致病药通过光化学反应,当皮肤暴露于正常人不发病的日光时可产生各种皮炎。由于光敏性致病药的参与,使皮肤对光的敏感性提高,因此,把此种皮炎称之为光敏性药疹。由于诊断技术的提高,更由于药物种类的不断增加及药物使用日益广泛,近年来光敏性药疹也随之增多。
