In this paper, the principle of Leeb hardness test, the composition of classification and main advantages. Then, the influencing factors of accuracy in the measurement of the Leeb hardness tester are analyzed. At last, the precautions of using this kind of hardness tester are expounded. The purpose of this article is to promote the Richter scale staff to the staff and introduce the correct use of methods designed to enable the majority of scientific and technological workers to understand this new hardness testing instruments to facilitate its promotion and utilization.
