Aim In order to find out the distribution rules of the internal combustion engine exhaust gas in different working conditions under the current traffic flow density, the natural background and the hazards that may occur under the unexpected conditions. The project carried out the determination of CO, NOx, CO2 and O2 in the air in Kuixian Tunnel. As a result, the peak value of NOx generated by the train during normal operation was 80.9 mg / m3 and CO was 112 mg / m3. The concentration of harmful gases was mostly at 3,4 points. Through the survey, the air quality is affected by the traffic density. The influence of vehicle speed on NOx is not obvious, but the impact on CO is larger. Due to the change of wind direction, the harmful gas in the tunnel forms a vortex or turbulence, causing many peaks at 3 measuring points. Peak lag, natural discharge time longer than the third test point. Conclusions The status quo of Kui first tunnel should be governed
