本文通过对《九歌》体制上的特点和《大司命》作品本身内容的的细致分析,并与《少司命》联系起来进行研究;在参考、借鉴前人、时贤的某些研究成果并进行适当、必要的辨证的基础上,提出了一个与以往学者都不相同的、却是不无道理的新的观点,即认为《大司命》当是大司命神与少司命神的对唱对舞之作,既生动、深刻地刻画出了大司命神秘、威严的形象,也表现了少司命对人间的关怀;同时反映了人们对大司命的敬畏、对少司命的好感、对生死关系的认识和对死亡的清醒、理性的态度.体现了屈原巧妙的艺术构思和卓越的艺术想象和创造力.
