书籍装帧美术家的使命是,为书籍从外表到内页创造形式美。但是,究竟应该为书籍创造什么样的形式美呢?作为中华民族的书籍装帧美术家,我以为,只有在书籍装帧上创造稳定的、经得起时间检验的民族形式美,才能在世界书籍装帧艺林中独树一帜,体现出历史悠久、伟大的中华民族特有的艺术风度。——这是我集中观赏了书籍装帧美术家陆全根所设计的六十多本美术书籍的装帧之后,留下的深刻印象和得出的结论。陆全根同志毕业于一九六三年的上海出版学校书籍装帧设计专业,但却在一段相当长的时期内没有机会从事书籍装帧专业工作。只是在粉碎“四人帮”以后,陆全根才终于有了在书籍装帧设计上大显身手的广阔天地。一九七八年以来,在五年的时间里,他先后为一百二十余本美术书籍作了装帧设计,其中《门采尔素描》获一九七九年全国书籍装帧艺术二等奖;《上海中国画选集》获一九八○年上海出版局颁发的优秀装帧奖;《鲁迅与书籍装帧》获一九八二年国家出版局、中国美术家协会、中国出版协会联合举办的全国第三届书籍装帧艺术展览会颁发的优秀装帧奖;还有不少装帧设计富于个性,为美术界、出版界和读书界所喜爱和推重。
The task of book binding artists is to create formal beauty for books from the outside to the inside. However, what kind of formal beauty should be created for books? As a book binding artist for the Chinese nation, I think that only in the book binding to create a stable, can withstand the test of time the formal beauty of the nation, in the world book binding Unique in art forest, reflecting the long history and great Chinese unique art style. - This is my deep impression and conclusion after more than 60 art books that I focused on watching book binding artist Lu Quangen. Comrade Lu Quangen graduated from Shanghai Publishing School in 1963, specializing in book binding design, but for a long period of time he had no chance to engage in book binding professional work. Only after the smashing of the “Gang of Four,” Lu Kwan-kan finally finally had a vast world of strength in book-binding design. In five years since 1978, he has designed more than 120 art books, of which Menzel’s Sketch won the second prize of National Book Binding Art in 1979 ; “Selected Works of Chinese Paintings” won Excellent Binding Award issued by Shanghai Publishing Bureau in 1980; “Lu Xun and Books Binding” won the title of “National Art Publishing House of China” in 1982 by the State Publishing Bureau, Chinese Artists Association and China Publishing Association The third book binding art exhibition awarded the outstanding binding award; there are a lot of binding design rich personality, for the art world, the publishing industry and the book industry favorite and push heavy.
