王家坪在延安城的西北方,隔延河与城相望。村子处在两座大山脚下,左边的叫脑畔山,右边的叫花豹山。王家坪最初叫牡丹坪,因这里的老乡多种植牡丹花而得名。后来一位王姓的人家将多数地方买去,改名叫王家坪。当年,这里是中央军委和十八集团军总司令部的旧址。党中央进驻延安后,军委和总部机关在这里领导根据地军民坚持了八年抗战。日寇投降后,又粉碎了国民党反动派的全面进攻。1947年3月18日,毛泽东、周恩来率部由这里撤离,转战陕北。
Wangjiaping Yan’an City in the northwest, across the river and the city across the street. The village is located at the foot of two big mountains, the left is called the hillside, the right is called the flower leopard mountain. Wang Ping was originally called Peony Ping, because here fellow named after planting peony flowers. Later, a Wang surnamed most people will buy it, renamed Wangjiaping. That year, here is the site of the Central Military Commission and the 18th Army General Command. After the Central Committee of the Party entered Yan’an, the Central Military Commission and the headquarters organs here insisted that the armed forces and the people in the base area persist in the eight-year war of resistance. After the Japanese invaders surrendered, they also shattered the all-out attack by the Kuomintang reactionaries. March 18, 1947, Mao Zedong, Zhou Enlai led his unit from here evacuated, fought in northern Shaanxi.
