乾隆五十一年至五十三年,台湾爆发了林爽文农民起义,清廷急调福建绿营水师赴台镇压。福建绿营水师在台期间,先后参与进攻诸罗、凤山等地的攻坚战斗,以及封锁海港、搜捕起义民众等辅助性军事行动,并承担起了运输兵力、粮饷等后勤保障工作,对“剿灭”农民起义军起了一定的作用。必须指出的是,福建绿营水师在台的军事行动是很不得力的,从中彻底暴露出其软弱无力与畏葸无能。
Fifty-one years to 53 years of Qianlong, Lin Shuwen peasant uprising broke out in Taiwan, and the Qing court urgently dispatched the Fujian-based green camp navy to Taiwan to suppress it. During his stay in Taiwan, Fujian’s Green Camp Navy has taken part in offensive operations such as attacking major battles in areas such as Zhuluo and Fengshan, as well as assisting military operations such as blockading the harbor and searching for people in the uprising. He also undertook logistics support work such as transport of troops and commissions, “Exterminate” peasant uprising army played a certain role. It must be pointed out that the military operations of the Fujian Green Camp Navy in Taiwan are very ineffective, from which they have completely exposed their weakness and their incompetence.
