黑山县1984年新开发水田15,700亩,获得平均亩产904.5斤的好收成。在实践中我们体会到,新稻区农田基本建设基础差,栽培水平低,在生产中应注意解决如下几个问题。选择对路品种,做好品种搭配新稻区由于生产条件和技术水平所限,易误农时,所选用的品种应该生育期长短搭配,用以调节农时,扩大种植面积,提高水资源利用率。为此,我县确定以中熟、抗逆性强的秋光为主栽品种,以杂交稻、丰锦、辽粳5号为搭配品种。这样,延长了育苗期,缓和了插秧期间争工、争时、争水的矛盾。
