我院成立时间不太长,各方面的設备还很簡陋,由于工作的需要,以及在全国大躍进一天等于二十年的新形势下,对我們的工作有很大的啟發和鼓舞,經过了几个星期时间的研究試驗,終于初步制成了“自制电烘箱”。此箱的构造簡單,且很經济,适用于医疗設备較差的衛生單位,根据我們几个月来的使用情况尚屬满意,可以代替市售之“电动恒溫箱”,而在价值方面则便宜得多,一般只要50元左右,而市上所卖的电动恆温箱则需几百元,現將此自制电烘箱的構造介紹如下: 此箱之外观形态是仿市上所購的电动恆溫箱,但在构造上却不同。此箱的外层是用木制的,內层用白铁,在这兩层之間包一层夹热的石棉,並且要一定距离之空间,以保护木箱,因此除白鉄不与木箱直接接触外,要求白鈇在制作上应是不漏空隙的,以防热的逸散;同时内层的白铁不应用锡去焊接,而应用铆釘,以防止溫度高而熔化。
