计划生育由来久“不孝有三,无后为大。”这一句话出自于《孟子·离娄上》。东汉的赵岐注释孟子所讲的“无后”的含义是没有后代。赵岐的解释流传至今.成了深植于中国人心中的一个结。在传统观念上,华人以子嗣众多为骄傲.认为多子多福。这自然不是中国人不知道生儿育女的辛苦.而完全是传统中国的社会和经济条件所决定的。
