“东方明珠城”由宁波国骅集团下属的、具有一级房地产开发资质的宁波东方建设开发有限公司投资开发,总用地面积近17万平方米,总建筑面积40万平方米(其中地下室10万平方米),共有住宅42幢以及商业中心、会所和幼儿园等配套设施。2004年该小区被中国房地产协会评为“中国(浙江)景观环境社区成功开发典范”,同时荣获2004年度宁波市“最佳人居环境奖”。“东方明珠城·国际公寓”为3幢25层的高层住宅,建筑面积73416平方米,体型系数0.25,窗墙比1:3。由于采用了先进的节能技术,使建筑节能率达到70%以上,被建设部列为2005年建筑节能示范工程。该工程主要采用了以下三项节能技术:

As a result of advanced energy-saving technologies, the building energy efficiency rate of 70% or more, was listed as the Ministry of Construction in 2005 building energy-saving demonstration project.
