陈哲文(艺名石手),是南韩雕刻艺术家。他从小生长在祖先所建的寺庙环境周围,长期受到环境的熏陶和感染,这成为他雕塑大量以佛像、佛教为主题作品的原动力。但是,他的作品并不仅仅停留在对佛像及佛教的简单塑造与阐述方面,而是以革新的创意体现出佛教的思想与理性的思维,赋予作品以崭新的立意(图一)。 Chen Zhewen (stage name stone hand), is a South Korean carving artist. He grew up around the ancestral built temple environment, long-term environmental influence and infection, which became his motivation to sculpture a large number of Buddhist, Buddhist themed works. However, his works are not limited to the simple shaping and elaboration of statues of Buddhism and Buddhism, but reflect the thinking of Buddhism and rationality with innovative ideas and give the works a completely new conception (Figure 1).
