陕西省宝鸡市政府为减少地下水开采量,防止地质灾害,从2002年10月份起逐步关闭市区自备水源井,力争在5至6年内,将238眼深井全部关闭,每年可压缩地下水开采量8280万立方米。地下水是宝鸡市市区主要水源。多年来,由于持续干旱和过量开采,市区地下水位持续下降,引发了部分地段地下水质污染和地面沉降。1995年以来,市政府下大力气开发新水源,先后在“引嘉济清”和“引冯入宝”工程相继建成使用,日增加水量12万立方米,市区供水紧张趋于缓解。在这种情况下,保护地下水资源,恢复地下水水位,减少地质灾害,改善市区生态环境就显得非常必要和紧迫。
