清代碑学对书法的审美感觉和取法对象进行了极大的拓展,但早在宋代,碑学理论的某些雏形已经浮现。碑学属于一种“纪念碑性”传统,与之相对,帖学则属“抒情性”传统。碑学的取法方式存在的问题在于,它剥夺了对象身上的政治和宗教内容而只获得了一种形式,而帖学的技法、内容则是充分生活化了的,因为它们只是些日常书写的产物。白蕉的作品只有被放置在属于帖学的、日常书写的抒情传统中才能够准确地被加以理解。
In the Song Dynasty, certain prototypes of the theory of tablet learning emerged. Berthing belongs to a “monumental” tradition, as opposed to a traditional “lyricism”. The problem with the method of tablet learning is that it deprives the object of political and religious content and obtains only one form. The technique and content of the postgraduate study are fully life-oriented, because they are only written in daily writing product. Banana’s work can only be accurately understood if it is placed in the lyrical tradition of daily writing, which belongs to lectures.
