图书馆是提供文献资料供人阅览、参考的机构,在社会思想文化教育和人类文化资源保护方面发挥着重要的作用。当下我国社会正处于转型时期,要求图书馆自觉承担社会责任,充分发挥图书馆服务社会的功能。本文从阐述图书馆社会内涵入手,并结合其承担社会责任的社会意义,对如何实现图书馆社会责任提出了一些建议与措施。
The library is an institution that provides documentation for reading and reference. It plays an important role in social ideological and cultural education and protection of human cultural resources. Nowadays, our country’s society is in the transitional period, requiring libraries to shoulder their social responsibilities consciously and give full play to the library’s function of serving the society. This article begins with the explanation of the social connotation of the library and puts forward some suggestions and measures on how to realize the social responsibility of the library according to its social significance of assuming social responsibility.
