Regarding the authenticity of the bear gallbladder, at present there are some domestic sources saying that bear bile can “submerge” (into the water sinks with yellow lines), drive dust, divide ink, taste bitterly, and burn (hot) without stench, etc. . These phenomena bear bile indeed, but this is the specificity of bear bile, whether bear bile has these characteristics? I think it is necessary to further explore. I have repeatedly experimented and observed for many years and saw that cows, sheep, and pig gallbladder can drive dust and ink, and both taste bitter and clear. These phenomena do not seem to be specific to bear bile, so they cannot be used as the main basis for authenticating bear bile. Can only be the same as the thickness of gallbladder skin, gallbladder and bile duct shape, etc., as a reference when authenticating authenticity. Some medicine books say that bear gallbladder, slightly scented or slightly sloppy, bittersweet, sweet, thick paste, etc., seem to be inadequate. Bear bile, like other gallbladders, has no reason to return to sweetness, but instead tastes a bit and first feels sweet.
