It is reported that China will open up the maritime transport market and encourage Sino-foreign joint ventures to construct and operate berths for public docks; allow the joint ventures to operate loading and unloading operations and related road and waterway passenger and freight transport; and allow Sino-foreign cooperative operation of terminal loading and unloading industry
