2011年3月,潞安集团公司筹建了“常村煤矿机电技能大师工作室”。2013年主创团队经过严格筛选扩大为十名劳模、两名首席技师和六名高级技师,并选聘了两名工程师,配置了装饰一新的办公场所和高配置办公设施,建成了“劳模技师创新工作室”。工作室创建以来,不断完善工作室管理和运行办法,利用工作室QQ群、信息联络员、总工办技术网站、专用和共用公开栏等平台发布了进一步开展工作、招收学员、开展技术革新、签订师徒协议书等活动公告,收到了良好的效果,自愿报名学员127名,采用“一师带多徒、一徒从多师”的方式签订师徒协
