我国主型货车转向架转8 A在运用中减振器磨耗严重,导致运行性能恶化、换修率高、经济效益差。在调查研究的基础上,分析了转8 A减振器的结构特点和磨耗量对阻尼的影响,确定在当前运用条件下,改进楔块材质,提高减振器的耐磨性是转8 A改进的最切实可行的办法。在对“QT60-2”等几种新材质楔块室内实物磨耗对比试验的基础上,于1981年起在福州分局永安车辆段进行装车运用考验。试验结果表明,“QT60-2”新材质楔块具有最佳的耐磨性,按检测平均磨耗量估算,一个楔块可用二个厂修期,远优于转8 A原型楔块,受到运用部门的欢迎。
