1992年8月,河北省易县财政局建筑工地在县政府西南角深挖楼基时,在距地表1.5米处发现一批残损的石造像共20余件。易县文物管理所闻讯后,立即前往清理。现将造像情况概述如下。此批出土的石造像残损较甚,全部失去头部,从残存躯干部分可看出有佛、菩萨、弟子、护法武士等,从风格判断,除一件带有北魏和平六年(465年)题记的交脚菩萨外,其余为唐、五代或辽所造。一、交脚菩萨像残高48、宽38厘米,仅存腰部以下双腿和台座及一头伏狮。双腿突显,裙部纹路呈突
