On August 22, 2006, a Pulkovo Airlines passenger plane, the Tu-154, crashed into a mysterious fire in Ukraine, killing 170 passengers and crew members. As this crash took place on July 9 last crash only 45 days, it is particularly cause for concern. On February 9, 1972, Tu-154 (SSSR-85007) took off from Vnukovo Airport in Moscow and flew to the mining town of 1,287 kilometers to begin commercial flight.
