改革开放以来,福建经济、社会发生了深刻的变化,国民经济快速发展,1995年全省国内生产总值提前8年翻二番,人均国内生产总值跃居全国第8位。 福建15年的巨大变化归功于全省上下在福建省委省政府的领导下,以改革和发展为目标,齐心努力奋斗的结果,也由于科技事业蓬勃发展带来了百业振兴而日新月异。全省国民经济增长中的科学技术贡献率从“六五”时期的27％提高到“八五”的40％,福建的科技进步已进一步进入了经济建设的主战场。福建历有“人杰地灵”之称,如今终于抓住了“天时”,赶上来了！
Since the reform and opening up, there have been profound changes in economy and society in Fujian Province. The national economy has developed rapidly. In 1995, the province’s GDP doubled eight years ahead of schedule and the per capita GDP ranked eighth in the country. The tremendous changes in Fujian over the past 15 years are attributed to the rapid development of science and technology that brought about the revitalization of all industries with rapid changes under the leadership of Fujian Provincial Party Committee and Government and the goal of reform and development. The contribution rate of science and technology in the national economic growth of the province increased from 27% in the “6th Five-Year Plan” period to 40% in the “Eighth Five-Year Plan” period. The scientific and technological progress in Fujian Province has further entered the main battlefield of economic construction. Fujian has been known as “outstanding people,” said, and now finally seized the “days” to catch up!
