According to the research, the purpura contained in the Chinese Materia Medica is basically the same as the Aster tataricus L.f. The Nu Wa Court is currently used by Turczaninowia fastigiata (Fisch) DC. There are two kinds of viewpoints in the day of the White Pelican: “The Cao’s Collection”, “Compendium of Materia Medica” and so on are thought to be “the color of the purple and white” and “newly revised herbal” and so on. The mountain aster did not have its name on the ancient herb, but the description of the asters in the Map of the Materia Medica and the above-ground part of the “Xizhou Purple Skull” map in the “Essentials Materia Medica” and the Ligularia. Similar, it seems to be the clinical use of the “mountain violet”.
