本文以秦皇岛旅游资料文化翻译为例,运用关联理论,分析了旅游资料文化翻译策略的动态选择。文章指出,异化翻译有利于中国特色文化传播,使国外游客在理解译文的过程中获得额外语境效果;归化翻译有利于增加译文的可读性,使国外游客在理解原文文化信息的过程中不必花费额外的认知努力。在实际的旅游文化翻译过程中,在关联原则的指导下,归化和异化策略应该相互交融,互为补充,共同实现国外游客需求和中国旅游文化之间的最佳关联。
Taking Qinhuangdao’s tourism material culture translation as an example, this paper analyzes the dynamic selection of tourist information cultural translation strategies by using relevance theory. The article points out that foreignization is beneficial to cultural transmission with Chinese characteristics and foreign tourists gain extra contextual effect in understanding the translation. Domestication translates to increase the readability of the translated text so that foreign tourists can understand the original cultural information Do not have to spend extra cognitive effort. In the actual translation process of tourism culture, under the guidance of the principle of association, the strategies of domestication and alienation should complement each other and complement each other so as to jointly realize the best correlation between the demand of foreign tourists and Chinese tourism culture.
