随着经济体制改革的逐步深入,企业发展遇到了许多新情况、新问题,对人才规格也提出了新的要求,单纯的以学校教育为中心的人才培养模式面临着诸多困难和严峻挑战。主要表现在:职业岗位出现了新的分类,对人才综合素质提出了更高的要求;企业设施条件和工作设备更新加快,学校专业设施设备状况相对滞后;学生实践教学需要企业支持,为学生就业实习提供基地;职业学校急需企业参与,共同研究人才培养目标,制定教育教学计划,研究课程设置和教学内容改革,建立学生实习就业基地。因此,建立一种行业企业积极参与的、多元化实施教育的新型人才培养模式,已成为职业学校教育教学改革与发展的迫切要求。
