要解决处理速度上的某些局限性,有若干种类的机器可供用选择。但总不如向量处理样机那样能够解决根本问题。向量处理机是一个附加于主机总线的高速运算部件;配上向量处理机可以增加更多的计算功能,加快数据和信号处理的速度,而且这一处理速度远远超出主机的速度。所以可以把向量处理机看作一种起到主机外围设备作用的专用处理机。本文主要着重于在结构设计、操作应用等几个方面介绍法国Kontron电子公司最近宣布的AP400加向量处理机,该机每秒运算速度可达1千万次。此外,AP400采用自主方式,这就意味着主机负载极小,可以同时执行其它任务。
There are several types of machines available to choose from to address some of the limitations of processing speed. But it is not as good as vector processing prototypes that can solve fundamental problems. The vector processor is a high-speed computing unit attached to the host bus; coupled with the vector processor can add more computing power to speed up the data and signal processing, and this processing speed far beyond the host speed. So you can think of a vector processor as a dedicated processor that serves as a host peripheral. This article focuses on the structure design, operation and application of several aspects introduced Kontron Electronics, France recently announced AP400 plus vector processor, the aircraft per second computing speed up to 10 million times. In addition, the AP400 uses an autonomous approach, which means the host has minimal load and can perform other tasks simultaneously.
