2002～2004年4～10月在全省设置测报站7个,采取现场检测和实验室诊断,按月对10多万亩养殖水面的“四大家鱼”养殖病害进行监测,一共监测到21种病原,其中细菌性病害和寄生虫病是主要病害,分别占病原比例的33%和43%,5～8月是我省“四大家鱼”养殖综合发病期,根据平均发病死亡率,估测2002～2004年全省水产养殖病害死亡造成的直接经济损失分别为2.07亿元、2.13亿元和3.46亿元,细菌性病害造成的损失是第一位的。
