The key role of woodland in maintaining soil and water plays an important role in the redistribution of rainfall to the forest. The five-year observation and comparison of rainfall distribution patterns of forest land showed that in the case of Pinus tabulaeformis forest age of 35 years and canopy density of 80%, the trans-flow rainfall in the forest accounts for 87.73% of the rainfall and the trunk flow accounts for 1.83 %, Canopy intercept loss accounted for 10.44%. The 30-year-old Robinia pseudoacacia forest has 65% canopy density, 92.86% of rainfall, 4.28% of trunk stem flow and 2.86% of canopy interception loss. In addition, the amount of transpiration, loss of trunk stem flow, and loss of canopy interception are all related to the amount of rainfall. Thus providing a scientific basis for further studying the law of soil and water loss.
