The 6th Member Congress and Eighth Academic Annual Meeting of the Division of Microbiology of China Society of Paleontology was held in Lushan, Jiangxi Province from January 1 to January 20, 2005. 70 experts and scholars from institutions of higher learning, Chinese Academy of Sciences, oilfields, publishing houses and various geological institutes attended the conference.
