在拖拉机单缸发动机上安装限油器,可以有效地控制发动机超负荷运行,对降低油耗、减小烟度、延长机车的使用寿命确有好处。但是,几年来限油器的使用和推广工作却不甚乐观,原因何在?最近,我走访了有关科研单位、拖拉机生产厂家及部分机手,得到的答案是值得思索的。近年来,种类繁多的限油器应运而生。其中大部分是由科研院所、大专院校联合有关厂家研制的。作为科研成果,研制单位要求积极推广是不言而喻的。但是,一些拖拉机生产厂及广大机手却另有一些想法。洛阳拖拉机研究所发动机工程部副主任袁聪同志说:几年来,除少数厂认识到单缸柴油机安装限油器确有好处,并在出厂的单缸柴油机上全部装上限油器
