形象思维是学生掌握知识的重要条件之一,有了丰富的形象思维就能在脑海里再现不在眼前的事物形象,就能在记忆的表象基础上创造出种种新形象,就能提学生分析和解决数学问题的能力。因此,对小学生进行数学教学的过程中,不仅需要培养学生的抽象思维能力,而且还需要对学生的形象思维能力进行着重培养。可以说,只有抽象思维和形象思维两种思维能力同时提升,才有利于学生智力的健康发展。
