新技术层出不穷是当今世界的主要特点之一 ,作为装备业及制造领域的一本专业性期刊 ,我们在关注新技术、介绍新动向的同时 ,更注重这些技术的应用及其市场的适应性。因为只有实用的新技术才能在市场中立足 ,才能在立足的同时不断发展成熟 ,才能创造出可观的效益。基于此想法 ,我刊特地开设了“新技术应用园地”。此园地首先得到了北京元茂兴控制设备技术有限公司的大力支持 ,并将利用 1年左右的时间连续刊登以PMAC为核心的开放式数控系统和机电一体化系统DIY两个方面的主题文章 ,并以讲座的形式结合实例逐步引导读者和用户开发具有自我特色的开放式数控系统和机电一体化系统。开放式数控系统这一专业术语 ,相信大家不仅听得很多 ,而且说得也不少。但何谓开放式数控系统 ?对这一问题解说得比较透彻的人并不在多数。我们知道 ,即使是普通的数控系统也有其开放的一些方面 ,因此所谓开放总是在一定层次上及深度上的开放 ,而且随着技术的进步和时间的不同 ,开放式数控系统的概念也在发展。从另一方面来讲 ,既然是开放式数控系统 ,那么用户能否借助一些工具和平台来随心所欲地搭建自己所需的数控系统、开发自己所需的特殊功能呢 ?回答应该是肯定的。但实际上 ,许多用户包括研究所和学校一提到开发 ,心里就没底
