中国数学会拟于今年8月间在北京召开第一次数学大会。大会将宣读数论、代数、几何、拓朴、函数、微分方程、泛函分析、概率论、数理统计、计算数学、数理逻辑、数学基础、数学史、力学与物理学中的数学问题等论文。这次大会除邀请国内提出论文的及各大学和研究单位选派的数学家外,还准备邀请外国的数学家参加。在国外的我国数学家,也将通知他们来参加大会或把论文寄来代为宣读。中国物理学会决定在今年下半年召开第二届全国
China Mathematical Society intends to hold its first math meeting in Beijing in August this year. The conference will read such essays as Number Theory, Algebra, Geometry, Topology, Function, Differential Equations, Functional Analysis, Probability Theory, Mathematical Statistics, Computational Mathematics, Mathematical Logic, Mathematical Basis, Mathematical History, Mechanics and Physics. In addition to inviting domestic dissertations and mathematicians selected by universities and research institutes, this conference also plans to invite foreign mathematicians to attend. Our country’s mathematicians abroad will also inform them to attend the conference or send the papers for reading. Chinese Physics Society decided to convene the second nation in the second half of this year
