1898年,日本在台湾推出“文明殖民”政策,授意儿玉·后藤集团邀请高松丰次郎赴台,欲借助辩士的社会宣传能力,改造台湾住民思想。高松丰次郎在完成政治任务的同时,并因此促进了台湾辩士朝向规范化、职业化发展,在台湾社会产生深远影响。台湾美台团借助辩士宣扬台湾文化,迅速成为台湾民族运动主力。自1937年起,台湾辩士受“皇民化运动”影响,陷入发展低谷。本文通过梳理台湾辩士发展轨迹,发现辩士同台湾政治保持紧密联系,这主要归因于辩士对观众内心话语的掌控,进而拥有强大社会话语权。
In 1898, Japan launched the “civilized colonialism” policy in Taiwan and instigated the Kodama Goto Group to invite Takamatsu Fumiro to Taiwan in order to transform the ideology of the residents in Taiwan by virtue of the social propaganda capabilities of the intellectuals. Takajiro Takamatsu, at the same time as completing his political mission, therefore promoted Taiwan’s advocates toward standardized and professional development and had a profound impact on Taiwan’s society. Taiwan’s US-Taiwan delegation has used advocates to promote Taiwan’s culture and has quickly become the main force of Taiwan’s national movement. Since 1937, Taiwanese debaters have been affected by the “Emperor’s Civilization Campaign” and have plunged into the trough of development. By combing the development track of Taiwanese debaters, this essay finds that there is a close relationship between the debaters and Taiwanese politics, which is mainly attributed to the fact that the intellectuals have control over the audience’s inner discourse and thus have a strong social discourse right.
