中国90年代文艺工作逐渐转向“弘扬主旋律,提倡多元化”1形式之后,在全球文化语境下,多元化的艺术创作时期受到了西方现代主义文化渗透,对西方艺术的盲目崇拜和刻意模仿,面对曲解美术本土,蔑视美术功能的现象。回顾19世纪下半期俄罗斯巡回展览画派的艺术成就十分必要,自新中国成立以后,我国建立了以苏联美术教育为范本的艺术创作全盘苏化,50年代中央美院举办的“马克西莫夫油画教学班”对我国的美术教育影响深远,这都与俄罗斯巡回画派的艺术成就一脉相承,巡回画派的批评现实主义创作手法对中国特色社会主义现代美术教育具有重要的借鉴作用和现实意义。
