As the largest personal computer seller in the Chinese market, Compaq Computer Corporation of the United States is still not satisfied with its market share of 21.3%. The company announced the official opening of Compaq Computer Technologies (China) Co., Ltd. located in Shenzhen, China, last month. It aims to increase the supply of desktop computer and computer power to meet the needs of users in the Asia Pacific region. The company’s factory covers an area of 170,000 square feet and is located in Shenzhen Overseas Chinese Town. It has a mainframe assembly line and three computer power production lines.
