1994年2月21～23日,中国农村卫生协会在深圳市布吉镇召开工作会议。省、自治区、直辖市和计划单列市卫协会的负责人等共44人出席会议。会议听取了总会工作情况报告,交流了各地卫协会工作经验,安排部署了今后工作。 中国农村卫协自第二次会员代表会议以来一年多的时间里,按照协会章程规定的宗旨和任务,做了不少工作。举办农村医院院长培训班,组织农村医学学术交流,评选模范乡村医生,开展对外交流与合作,调查研究农村卫生工作政策,以及筹备出版《中国乡村医药》杂志和农村医药电教大学等工作的开展,都体现了农村卫生协会的活力和
