The Multi-Target Tracking Radar (MOTR) is a precision measurement radar designed to support range safety, weapon development, combat testing and qualification, and training exercises in realistic situations (ie with multiple participants) . The first MOTR radar was delivered to the US Army White Sands Missile Range (WSMR) in May 1988 where extensive field testing was conducted and was finally accepted by the government in December 1988. This article summarizes the acceptance testing procedures for the first part of the MOTR Radar (SN1) and gives the details of the acceptance test procedures for the first part of the MOTR Radar (SN1), as well as the government electronic system division (Factory Test) and White Sands Missile Range (field test) at General Electric Company of Moorestown, The resulting important performance test results.
