既往观念认为神经生长因子类物质具有促神经生长和修复作用,在脑外伤和脑卒中等疾病中具有神经保护作用。但近年的研究表明神经生长因子类物质参与调控神经祖细胞的增殖、分化与存活;对神经递质有选择性调控作用,在异常神经发生过程中起着至关重要的作用。神经生长因子调控轴突、树突生长,诱导神经纤维定向生长,参与癫痫疾病异常神经环路形成从而影响神经细胞兴奋性,具有诱导癫痫反复发作,促癫痫形成的作用。神经生长因子类物质可能是调控癫痫形成和进展的新靶标。
Past ideas that nerve growth factor substances with nerve growth and repair role in brain trauma and stroke and other diseases with neuroprotective effect. However, recent studies show that NGFs are involved in the regulation of proliferation, differentiation and survival of neural progenitor cells. They selectively regulate neurotransmitters and play an important role in the process of abnormal neurogenesis. Nerve growth factor regulates axon and dendritic growth, induces directional growth of nerve fibers, participates in the formation of abnormal neural circuits of epilepsy and thus affects the excitability of nerve cells, induces recurrent and epileptic seizures. Nerve growth factor may be a new target for the regulation of epilepsy formation and progression.
