奥运会吉祥物问世以来,以其富有活力的独特形象,体现奥林匹克精神、传达当届奥运会的举办理念以及主办城市的历史文化审美和人文精神,成为在民众中推广奥林匹克精神的重要载体。本文历数历届奥运会吉祥物,总结了特点,从吉祥物作为一种特殊的产品的构成因素上,归纳了其不同的形象类型和文化审美背景类型,并指出了其文化审美的传播意义和经济价值。
