为纪念孙中山诞辰136周年,民革江苏省委于11月7日在南京召开“孙中山与祖国统一”研讨会。在宁部分专家学者和民革党员出席了会议,民革江苏省委副主委殷志强主持了会议。与会的专家学者从不同的角度,阐述了对孙中山祖国统一思想的认识。他们一致认为,祖国统一是孙中山先生的遗愿,是中华民族的根本利益所在,也是海内外广大中华儿女的共同心愿。中华民族五千年悠久历史和灿烂文化的熏陶,在中国人民心中形成了崇尚统一、维护统一的强烈民族意识。我们只有完成祖国的完全统一,才能实现国家的富强和民族的全面复兴。专家们还就如何研究、宣传孙中山统一祖国的思想,提出了一些建设性的意见。
In commemoration of the 136th anniversary of the birth of Sun Yat-sen, the People’s Revolutionary Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee convened a seminar on “Unification of Sun Yat-sen and the Motherland” in Nanjing on November 7. Some experts and scholars at the Ning and DPP attended the meeting. Yin Zhijiang, vice chairman of the People’s Revolutionary Committee of Jiangsu Province, presided over the meeting. The participating experts and scholars from different angles, elaborated Sun Yat-sen’s understanding of the idea of the motherland’s reunification. They all agreed that the reunification of the motherland is the aspiration of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, the fundamental interest of the Chinese nation, and the common aspiration of the sons and daughters of China at home and abroad. The five thousand-year history of the Chinese nation and the splendid culture have nurtured the strong national consciousness of the Chinese people in advocating unification and maintaining unity. Only by completing the complete reunification of our motherland can we achieve the country’s prosperity and nation’s comprehensive rejuvenation. The experts also put forward some constructive suggestions on how to study and publicize Sun Yat-sen’s idea of reunifying the motherland.
