很多高职英语教师认为高职英语教学应该完全使用英语,尽量避免母语对学生的干扰。但是,从目前高职学生尤其是理工类专业学生的实际情况看,有相当一部分学生对全英教学还不太适应,因听不懂而丧失了对英语学习的兴趣和积极性。本文对高职英语教学是否需要母语的介入及如何介入作了初步的探讨。
Many English teachers in higher vocational colleges believe that English teaching in higher vocational colleges should use English completely, and try to avoid the interference of native language to students. However, judging from the actual situation of higher vocational students, especially those majoring in science and engineering, a considerable number of students are still not accustomed to teaching in the UK. They lose interest and enthusiasm for learning English because they cannot understand it. This article makes a preliminary discussion on whether or not English teaching in higher vocational colleges needs the intervention of native language and how to intervene.
