金荞麦浸膏和黄烷醇均无明显的体外抗菌作用。人或小鼠口服金养麦,在体内均未检出有抗菌作用的物质。 对腹腔感染金黄色葡萄球菌的小鼠,只有在同一途径给金养麦浸膏或黄烷醇时有治疗作用。腹腔注射金荞麦浸膏或黄烷醇,能增强小鼠腹腔巨噬细胞的吞噬功能,但巨噬细胞总数未见增多。三联菌苗致热家兔口服金荞麦浸膏有解热作用。黄烷醇静注对巴豆油诱起的小鼠耳部炎症、大鼠酵母性关节肿和皮肤被动过敏反应均有抗炎作用。在试管内黄烷醇能抑制ADP和金黄色葡萄球菌诱导的大鼠血小板聚集。大鼠静注黄烷醇,能抑制ADP和胶原诱导的血小板聚集。黄烷醇有祛痰作用。给小鼠口服金荞麦浸膏有轻微的镇咳作用。
