草莓经几次霜冻之后,外界温度降至-7℃前,要及时覆盖防寒保暖物,使其在田间安全越冬.草莓只有在良好的保暖防寒条件下,叶片仍保持绿色,可以继续生长并制造养分,才会在早春生长快、成熟早、产量高。防寒保暖方法很多,有设风障、盖草、埋土及压盖厩肥等。在密植的草莓园中,可每隔10～15米设风障一道,用玉米秸做风障材料,障高2.5米。
