英语阅读是吸收英语语言材料、增加语言知识、扩大词汇量的重要手段,也是以英语为媒介进行交流和获取信息的最主要形式之一。而课前预习是课堂教学的第一个重要环节。针对目前大学英语阅读过程中出现的教师重视不够,学生预习状况不尽如人意:相当一部分学生根本不预习,即使预习也达不到预定的效果,质量不高,影响教学成效等情况来看,英语阅读预习策略有待提高,同时分析了当今大学生对阅读预习不感兴趣的原因,探讨了英语教学中的预习策略及教学指导,并付诸于教学实践,进行批判性反思与评价,以此更好地改进阅读课的教学效果。
