国务院1981(40)号文件规定:“每年春季,全国各地都要开展“爱鸟周”活动,掀起爱鸟护鸟热潮。”鉴于我国地理环境、气候、民族习俗等国情复杂多样,各省、市、自治区又对该活动作了具体时间规定。例如,四川省把每年4月2日定为鸟节,从这天起的一周时间,即4月2~8日为爱鸟周;北京的爱鸟周4为4月1~7日;上海为4月4~10日;广东为月20~26日。每年春季全国各地开展的爱鸟周活动,在时间上与讲授初中的“鸟纲”和高中的“生物与环境”基本上相一致。(使用普九义务教育教材的,则在结束“鸟纲”教学后不久)。因此,把握这一时机,使把“爱鸟周”活动与生物学教学相结合,不仅有利学生更好地理解教材,提高教学质量,而且有利于培养学生爱鸟护鸟的自觉性。在开展爱鸟周活动中,做了以下一些工作: 一、强化教材内容中有关爱鸟护鸟知识的教学
