以~3H-TdR、~3H-Leu掺入为指标的淋巴细胞转化实验和淋巴细胞合成蛋白质SDS-PAGE放射自显影实验观察到:冷适应过程中,低温对小鼠免疫系统的作用呈规律性周期变化,即:波动期(1-3d)→稳定期(1-2wk)→免疫增强期(2wk以后);冷适应使小鼠细胞免疫功能持续增强。
